Especially, for people who are suffering from diseases, disorders, or specific medical conditions, strictly for those over 12 months. 1.1 Foods for special Medical Purposes includes the following categories: 1.1.1 Nutritionally complete food with a standard nutrient formulation which, used in accordance to manufacturer's instructions, may constitute the sole source of nourishment for the persons for whom it is intended; 1.1.2 Nutritionally incomplete food with a standard formulation or a nutrient-adapted formulation specific for a disease, disorder or medical condition which is not suitable to be used as the sole source of nourishment. 1.1.3 Formulas for metabolic "genetic" disorders in patients over 12 months. 1.1.4 Oral Rehydration Solutions.
