GSO 17:1984 Scope
Part one of this standard is concerned with the methods for the detection and determination of the following additives permitted in edible oils and fats:
Detection of natural colouring matter: carotene - annatto - turmeric - aniline dye.
Determination of emulsifiers: monoglycerides - lecithin and phosphorus.
Detection and determination of antioxidants: gallats - butylated hydroxy anisol - butylated hydroxy toluene.
