This Gulf standard applies the hard surface cleaning products in liquid form that may contain synthetic or natural detergents and/or mixtures thereof, and that also have proven efficacy as germicidal agents, since they have the capacity to destroy microorganisms or irreversibly inactivate them; and that are intended primarily for general cleaning and primarily for disinfection of floors, walls and other household hard surfaces as a main function clarified in the product denomination (domestic use only). This standard does not apply to products with secondary germicidal claims.
