GSO ISO 3855:2015 Scope

This International Standard gives a nomenclature of milling cutters in English and in French. To facilitate understanding of this document, certain terms relating to milling are given first. NOTE — In addition to terms used in two of the official ISO languages (English and French), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in German and Italian languages (see annex); these have been included at the re quest of ISO Technical Committee 29, and are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany (DIN) and Italy (UNI). However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms.
