This part of ISO 4463 identifies and provides guidance in the form of check-lists for the surveying and setting-out services that may be required during the development and construction of buildings and ancillary works. It will assist those involved in specifying the surveying and setting-out services required during the procurement of buildings by providing a check-list of the requirements from which selections can be made and to which further items can be added depending on the particular needs of the project. The guidance is applicable to both new construction and refurbishment projects.
