GSO ISO 9457-1:2013 Scope
This part of ISO 9457 specifies the metric modules, pressure angles, number of teeth and other tooth characteristics which are necessary to ensure interchangeability of currently used starter motor pinions (those with a pressure angle of 14° 30′) used for starter motors mounted on reciprocating internal combustion engines for road vehicles.
