This Gulf standard is concerned with welded circular tubes and pipes with longitudinal or spiral weld made of unalloyed steel as listed in Table 1. These tubes are predominantly used in construction, fluid conveyance, vessels, pipe works and for general mechanical engineering purposes where leak tightness is required.
