GSO 749:1997 Scope
This Gulf standard specifies ethylene glycol concentrate which is used as a base in the manufacture of engine-coolants. It also specifies the engine-coolants produced from the ethylene glycol concentrate which provide cooling effect during both winter and summer and also provide protection against freezing, boiling and corrosion in light service cooling systems.
