GSO 861:1997 Scope
This Gulf standard specifies requirements for covering fabrics for domestic upholstery, for fabrics removable, cleanable and fitted. This standard excludes plastics coated fabrics where the coating is the wear surface, fabrics intended solely for loose covers, leather, fabrics for transport applications and fabrics with a nominal pile length of 5 mm or more.
