This Gulf standard is concerned with the methods of testing unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pipes from 40 to 160 nominal size used in soil, waste and vent discharge systems inside the domestic buildings, for non-pressure applications. All pipes that used in discharge systems for the commercial laundries, kitchens, hospitals etc. and in lines with water temperature constantly or intermittently above 60oC are excluded from the scope of this standard.
