GSO 1164:2002 Scope
1.1 This Gulf standard describes the classification and specifications of Automotive greases used for chassis and wheel bearings of passenger cars, trucks and other vehicles.
1.2 This standard defines the requirements required to describe the properties and performance characteristics of chassis and wheel bearings greases.
1.3 This standard does not include greases for central lubrication system used in some heavy vehicles
