This Gulf standard is concerned with the methods of testing injection moulded unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pipe fittings with an elastomeric sealing ring joints or with sockets for solvent cementing. The nominal sizes for these fittings can be up to 225 mm. These fittings are intended for the conveyance of potable water and water for general purposes under pressure at 60 Co, in buried or above ground mains and branches both inside or outside buildings
